THE BATTLE WITH MOSES' PEOPLE
Terry Watson is the descendant of the first African American police officers in New York City, Moses P. Cobb and Samuel J. Battle. Although other African American men were hired in New York as patrolman, Cobb and Battle were known for breaking the racial barrier. This historical descriptive narration allows for a deeper exploration of the two movements of today #BlackLivesMatter and #BlueLivesMatter.
