About the author

Terry Lee Watson's first book, Welcome to the Sick Mind of a Sane Person, provides insight into what it takes to deal with the legacy of white supremacy as a conscious black mind in America.  The book, Welcome to the Sick Mind of a Sane Person is a collection of poems, short stories, and critical essays that provide deep, thought-provoking questions regarding how we sustain an oppressive structure in America.

Mr. Watson, the host of Moses' People Speak: Race, Conversations, and Law Enforcement, has been providing workshops on the topics of bias and discrimination, addressing generational trauma, and confronting racism for over twenty-five years.
