David A. Schroeder, Ph.D., is the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences Associate Dean at the University of New Haven. As the recipient of the Centenary Medal from the Polish National Police, Professor Schroeder's research interests include homicide investigation, the utility of forensic evidence (most notably DNA), aberrant/episodic homicide, defense investigation, and tolerance issues in law enforcement. Dean Schroeder advocates for cross-cultural training within law enforcement and has a history of investigating use-of-force cases.
