About the Event

Join us as we speak with Dr. Dwayne Wright on a topic that has drawn up controversy across the country via politics, school board meetings, law enforcement training, and higher education—Critical Race Theory (CRT).  We will discuss what CRT is and what it is not and what role it has in America.

More about our guest:

Dr. Wright’s research is located within three broad theoretical frameworks: Critical Race Theory, Sociocultural Theory and Critical Pedagogy. His areas of empirical research interest include access, diversity, and equity policies for underserved populations in higher education; the use and influence of social science research in/on law.
