Track Description: Due to recent class-action lawsuits, civil lawsuits, and settlements within and directed at the law enforcement profession, the Laws, Legislation, and Practices workshop track provides a critical and legal analysis on legislation and how they can impact police culture and practices. This track's purpose is to build competencies within law enforcement on creating, enhancing, and maintaining a culture that impacts practices congruent with laws and legislation.
